In south west Scotland, bordering the Solway Firth, just 1 mile out of Wigtown, Scotland's National Book Town (Dumfries 55 miles, Stranraer 25 miles), on the west bank of the Cree Estuary, lies Borrowmoss.
Stranraer, Newton Stewart and Dumfries are linked by the A75. Wigtown is approximately 6 miles from Newton Stewart and is situated in The Machars area of Wigtownshire.

TRANSPORT
A local bus service runs from Wigtown. Coaches run from Newton Stewart
(6 miles) to London via Manchester and Birmingham, to Belfast via Stranraer
